This lush piece was of my mum's that grew out front at my last New York house. When I moved in, I let everything grow to see what was planted. This perennial grew up to my chest, blooming in this dusty pink-purple. One day, my Mother, who is an Environmentalist and avid gardener, was flabbergasted that I had not trimmed them sooner. I loved their height, and the gangly stems housed spider webs.
