“Lost in the Woods” is a special landscape that I drew directly on the printing plate on sight on Deer Island in Maine. It was a cool fogy morning with dew on the mossy forest floor over looking the ocean. I sat watching the tide come in as the birds awoke above. As a avid hiker and outdoors traveler, illustrating special landscapes preserve memories of environments I have had the pleasure of exploring and existing harmoniously in.
